About the Project
Created for The Square Ball’s 2019 Summer Special, which also included a Leyendecker-style Molenaar, a manga fight between Garry Monk and David Wagner, and a Galactic Davide Somma.
The main illustration centred on the Cellino car park incident from 2014 — one of those stories so fundamentally Leeds that the only sensible response is to illustrate it as if it belongs to folklore rather than reportage.
